1948 Pennsylvania Railroad Calendar Painting by Grif Teller
The first
two PRR E7 locomotives are seen here, with No. 5900 in the lead, a "B" power
unit
in center, and our No. 5901 following. Note that at that time they were painted
Brunswick Green.
Entitled "Progressive Power," the painting was set by artist Grif
Teller in Aqueduct Straight Line,
between Harrisburg and Altoona.
No. 5901 also
appeared in the 1947 calendar painting.
