Strasburg ... America's Favorite Train Stop!
Visit the Museum, take a train ride, see the toy trains, enjoy other attractions, all in one trip!
|
The Museum does not operate trains, but you're in luck!
The Strasburg Rail Road, a historic operating railroad located directly across the street from the Museum, runs lots of train rides in vintage coaches, mostly with steam locomotives. The rides are well narrated, with great views of Amish farmlands. They also feature special Thomas days for the youngsters. Taking a trip on the Strasburg Railroad is an experience not to be forgotten!
| Tickets for rides may be obtained at the Ticket Office at the Rail Road, not at the Museum. The Museum's front desk does have information on their schedules. For information, call the Strasburg Rail Road at 717 687-7522, or visit their web site at: www.strasburgrailroad.com. |
