Roundhouse

The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania was fortunate to have construction begin in July 2025, during our 50th anniversary year, on a much-anticipated and much-needed 16,000-square-foot, six-stall roundhouse exhibit building in the Museum yard.

The Pennsylvania Department of General Services named eciConstruction of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania as the general contractor. Construction is anticipated to be completed by late 2026/early 2027.

Pennsylvania Railroad B6sb No. 1670, E6s No. 460 and H10s No. 7688 are three of the six historic steam locomotives to be installed in the roundhouse.
